Cogito is an alternative programme offered by St. Albert Protestant Schools. Our district first offered the St. Albert Cogito Programme in the 2003/04 school year, offering grades 1 to 6. Expanded to include kindergarten in 2004/05, St. Albert Cogito has seen significant growth and success, and is extending to Grade 8 in September 2008, with Grade 9 being offered in September 2009.
It is designed for the student who is willing to work consistently to achieve a high level of academic success.
Parents of Cogito students support their children's success by encouraging student progress, providing a distraction-free time and place for homework, and examining and signing homework books.
