Fee: $20 (per term)

Advanced Science is an extension of the science curriculum that will allow broader and deeper exploration of various science strands through research, hands-on projects and labs, and visits to off-site learning or competition events. Topic progressions may include, but are not limited to: famous scientists and strands of science, dinosaurs, planets and space station creation, Da Vinci miniature construction, forensic science (crime scene evaluation and construction), Rube Goldberg construction, human impact on ecosystems, biology (frog dissection), Wives’ Tales (myth buster activities), Science Olympics (varied events), robotic programming, dichotomous key creation and species identification, eco-friendly house construction, paper airplane contest and a science fair.
